In Jackson Hole's history, Dean Stayner, a visionary, unveiled the Jackson Hole Book Trader in 1998. Over time, he expanded its offerings, guiding it into the digital age and leaving a radiant legacy in the chronicles of literature.

Susie Temple, a devotee of books, and former store employee acquired the establishment in 2017. She updated the interior and it’s collection melding tradition with innovation.

Now, Andrew Firment steps in as the new guardian, honoring the bookstore's legacy of being passed from owner to employee. He invites readers to join him on a storytelling journey amidst ancient sagas and untold adventures.

We do used book buying by appointment only.
We accept:
Gently used books in excellent clean condition free of writing, highlighting, and water damage.
We do not accept:
CDs/DVDs/VHS tapes (Including audiobooks)

We offer cash (as a check) or store credit for your used books. We offer 25-50% of our store price per book.
Store credit can be used at Jackson Hole Book Trader to receive discounts off books: 25% off of new titles and 50% off of used titles.
